Madonna gets an Indian ‘Fever’ for her next album

She came, she saw, and she apparently liked India. So much so that Madonna’s all set to model her next album on hamara Bharat mahaan.
According to a source, the international popstar, who was in the country the past two weeks, is planning to incorporate a number of Indian beats into her upcoming album. Not just a taste of India, but also a hint of Latin tunes. “Her next album will comprise Indian and Latin beats, and will mix Bollywood and Latin dance moves,” reveals the source. Word also has it that she will be starting work on her first video for the album in April-May this year.
But this is not the first time the Material Girl singer will be using Indian elements in her music. The video of her 1998 hit Frozen showed the singer sporting henna tattooes, specifically a hennaed ‘Om’ on the palm of her hand. Yogics also see a number of yoga asanas and mudras in her dance movements in the video.
Considering Madge toured the beautiful Rajasthan — heritage structures and palaces in Udaipur and Jodhpur and was attracted to Rajasthani folk music and dance including the traditional dandiya dance — will her Indian-centric video feature vignettes of Rajasthan? Or will it have shades of Mumbai’s slums and nightlife, both of which she got a taste of as well. Or would it be about the sea and sand of Goa, where she went on the last leg of her Indian holiday? Either ways, Madonna’s all set to give us ‘Fever’ once again!

Elle est venue, elle a vu, et elle a apparemment aimé l'Inde. Tellement que Madonna va modeler son prochain album sur hamara Bharat mahaan.
Selon une source, la popstar internationale, qui était dans le pays les deux dernières semaines, planifie d'incorporer un certain nombre de rythmes indiens dans son prochain album. Pas seulement un goût de l'Inde, mais aussi une allusion à des airs latins. "Son prochain album comprendra des rythmes indiens et latins, et mélangera Bollywood et des mouvements de danse latins," révèle la source. Il est aussi dit qu'elle va commencer à travailler sur sa première vidéo pour l'album d'avril-mai de cette année.
Mais ce n'est pas la première fois que la chanteuse de Materiel Girl utilisera des éléments indiens dans sa musique. La vidéo de son succès de 1998, Frozen, a montré la chanteuse portant des tatouages de henné, spécifiquement un 'Om' henné sur la paume de sa main. Considérant que Madge a visité le beau Rajasthan - des structures d'héritage et des palais de Udaipur et Jodhpur et a été attirée par la musique et la danse folklorique de Rajasthan incluant la danse traditionnelle dandiya - sa vidéo axée indienne représentera-t-elle des vignettes de Rajasthan ? Ou aura-t-elle les ombres des taudis et de la vie nocturne de Mumbai, qu'elle a tous les deux aussi goûté. Ou est-ce que cela sera la mer et le sable de Goa, où elle est allée à la fin de ses vacances indiennes ? De toutes les façons, Madonna va nous donner la 'Fièvre' à tous encore une fois!
