A-Rod va passer Thanksgiving avec sa famille, pas Madonna.
Tuesday November 25, 2008
Alex Rodriguez will be spending Thanksgiving with his wife, Cynthia, and their two kids - not Madonna, despite reports.
On Tuesday, the New York Post reported (citing Access Hollywood) that Cynthia wrote an e-mail to friends slamming her ex for "abandoning his kids on Thanksgiving to be with Madonna ...She called and he ran on her command back to New York City...Gross!"
But a source close to the Yankee slugger - who split from his wife this summer after Us Weekly reported he'd been making late-night visits to Madonna's NYC apartment - tells Usmagazine.com: "It's not true. I spoke to her this morning.
"He's going to be with Cynthia and her entire family for Thanksgiving, and this has been planned for months," the insider adds. "It's quite a big celebration."
"They have a large family get together every year," the source tells Us. "It was always his intention to go to the family get together with her family, and it includes a whole array of relatives."
Plus, "he's not even in New York," where Madonna lives, the insider adds.
Cynthia filed for divorce in July after four years of marriage, citing her husband's alleged infidelity. (Her lawyer called A-Rod's relationship with Madonna, "an affair of the heart.") The couple - who finalized their divorce in September - is parents to Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1.
Since the split, "they've reconciled and it's very friendly. All those other things are completely false and misleading," says the source.
Madonna and husband of seven years, Guy Ritchie, announced their divorce in October. On Nov. 21, they were granted a preliminary decree of divorce (meaning their split will be finalized in six weeks and one day) in London.
They are parents to Rocco, 8, and adopted son David Banda, 3. Madonna is also mom to 12-year-old Lourdes with fitness trainer Carlos Leon.
