Lady Gaga has been slammed over her similarities to Madonna, but Charo admitted she took the slight "a little further" on Wednesday morning.
On Frank DeCaro's OutQ radio show on Sirius XM, the "Love Boat" star and singer accused the "Born This Way" songstress of being worse than a Madge rip-off.
"I can tell you, to me, Lady Gaga is Madonna with diarrhea," the 60-year-old Spanish musician, who has released seven albums since 1977, said.
In reference to Gaga's new single, which has been compared to Madonna's "Express Yourself," and her Grammy Awards performance, which has been criticized as a Blonde Ambition knock off, Charo added, "I don't like it when somebody copies somebody and just adopt it. Like, their own idea."
Gaga responded to the Madonna comparisons on Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" last week.
"I got an email from [Madonna's] people and her sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single," she told the host, "and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be."
Gaga's rep could not be reached for comment, but the 24-year-old pop star recently tweeted that she is set to appear on Oprah's Sirius XM radio show Thursday.
