Live Aid rocked the world, while the likes of Boy George and Madonna shocked the world. The 80s inspired a generation to express themselves through music, fashion and a change the world attitude – and its influence can still be seen and heard today.
But what is the Greatest Song of the 80s? MTV, Viva and Vh1 in association with Absolute 80s, the UK's only 80s radio station, are putting it to the vote!
Our esteemed panel of music experts have put together a list of 125 of the most era defining songs from the 80s. All you have to do is go through the list, pick your favourite, then press the submit button to cast your vote.

As a special thanks for voting for the Greatest Song Of The 80s, we're giving you the chance to win a pair of VIP weekend camping tickets to the fantastic 80s Rewind Festival.
The 80s Rewind Festival is lovingly dedicated to staging and celebrating the best music of the 1980s, hosted in the green and pleasant surrounds of historic Henley-on-Thames, known for its cream teas and annual Regatta.
This year’s Rewind features a line-up of 80s pop giants including Boy George, Rick Astley, 10cc, Heaven 17, Altered Images, Tony Hadley, ABC & Go West, Marc Almond, Level 42, Hazel O’Connor, Carol Decker, Kid Creole and the Coconuts and more!
The VIP tickets will give the lucky winner access to the campsite and festival for the duration of the weekend, as well as the VIP viewing garden, backstage bar and toilets for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd!
The campsite is open from 2pm on Friday 20th August, and the arena will be open from 6pm that evening for weekend ticket holders to enjoy the Silent Disco, Live Karaoke and Comedy stage, funfair, trade and food concessions. The main stage opens on the Saturday 21st August (along with the VIP area).
