La robe de Madonna par Jean Paul Gaultier aux enchères de la mode à Paris le 12 nov. 2012.

The Fashion exhibition at the Drouot Richelieu auction house in Paris opens on Nov. 10, 2012. The sale is on Nov. 12, 2012.

From Grazia Fashion:

Madonna's Gaultier look is up for grabs
01 November 2012 by Caroline Ferry

Everyone knows that auction houses are full of savvy fashion collectors, whether it is to buy Dorothy’s dress from the Wizard Of Oz or a Catherine Walker dress worn by Princess Diana. And one we suspect will be full to the brim with vintage buyers and collectors will be the fashion exhibition at the Drouot Richelieu auction house in Paris in two weeks’ time, on Nov. 12.
The auction has been organised by a French Institute of Fashion graduate, Pénélope Blanckaert, who specialises in vintage designer apparel and accessories. A pretty nifty job if you ask us! And what lots can you expect to see? Thirty years of Jean Paul Gaultier’s designs, as well as Alaïa, Chanel, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, Maison Martin Margiela, Comme des Garcons and Gianni Versace. What an unbelievable line-up! Happen to be in Paris in the meantime? Luckily for you the exhibition of the lots will be open to the public in the run-up to the sale starting on Nov. 10.
What can we hope for? Scroll through our gallery to see some of the designer’s highlights that we’d love to see at the auction...

Le livre d'école et le short de DSS de Madonna aux enchères le 12 juin 2012.

From The Sun News:

Madonna's yearbook goes under the hammer
By ELLIE ROSS
Published: 23rd May 2012

A school yearbook with a picture of Madonna before she was famous has emerged from one of the star’s former classmates.
The snap shows the fresh-faced teen with dark air and Madge’s unmistakeable features.
Beneath the photo of the future pop star is her name - Madonna Ciccone.
She signed the back of the West Junior High School book to her pal Nancy.
The future Queen of Pop wrote:Dear Nancy, I hope you have fun at Adams and all the years to come, Madonna “76”.
It is unclear what the “76” refers to, but Adams is the name of the high school in Rochester that Nancy went on to.
The book was published at the end of the 1971-1972 school year, when Madonna was 13 or 14 and leaving her high school in Michigan, US.
Now it is expected to fetch up to £1,500 pounds when it goes under the hammer at Christie’s auction house in London.
Also in the sale are a pair of boxer shorts worn by Madonna in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan and they are expected to fetch £800.
Helen Hall, from the saleroom, said: “I think it is very rare for one of the yearbooks from Madonna’s junior high school with her in it to come on the market. I have never seen one before.
It is very far removed from rock ’n’ roll and shows someone who is rather young and innocent.
It looks like Madonna has dark hair and the camera clearly liked her from an early age and shows the signs of the star she was to become.
There are huge Madonna fans all over the globe and there is a big market.”
The auction takes place on June 12.

Madonna dans les enchères de 'Music Icons' les 25 et 26 juin 2011.

Michael Jackson's `Thriller' jacket up for auction
By SANDY COHEN, AP Entertainment Writer – Mon Jun 6, 8:51 am ET

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – The jacket Michael Jackson wore in his "Thriller" video is hitting the auction block.
Auction administrator Darren Julien says the red and black leather jacket is "the most recognized and significant piece of pop culture" to come up for sale, and he expects it to fetch at least $200,000 at the Music Icons auction on June 25 and 26 at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills.
Jackson autographed the jacket as a gift to his longtime costume designers, Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. He wanted them to use the small calfskin jacket as a template for his future concert fashions. A portion of the proceeds from its sale will benefit the Shambala Preserve, where Jackson's two Bengal tigers, Thriller and Sabu, have been living since the pop star left his Neverland ranch in 2006.
Other Jackson items up for sale include the wig he wore when he announced his ill-fated "This Is It" concert series in London, a fedora and spangled glove he wore on stage, his shirt from the "Scream" video and the battered mailbox from the Carolwood Drive estate where Jackson died at age 50 in 2009.
The Music Icons sale also includes one of Eric Clapton's guitars, Frank Sinatra's patent leather boots and 1986 Jaguar, handwritten lyrics and a leather jacket from Johnny Cash, jackets and a guitar from Elvis Presley, a signed harmonica from Bob Dylan and nearly 600 other pieces of music memorabilia from Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, The Beatles and others.
The collection will be on view free to the public from June 13 to 25 at Julien's Auctions Gallery in Beverly Hills.

Le manteau D&G du Girlie Show tour de Madonna aux enchères 'Icons & Idols'.

'Icons & Idols' auction in Beverly Hills on December 3 and 4, 2010.

John Lennon Jacket May Nab $200,000 at 'Icons' Auction
12:18 AM 11/10/2010 by David Ciminelli

Dec. event in Beverly Hills also hawking rare items from Barbra Streisand, Madonna and Johnny Cash.
Rare items from the worlds of music, film and pop culture -- including what is being touted as the most extensive collection of Beatles memorabilia -- is going on the auction block next month in Beverly Hills. Among the items up for bid at Julien's Auctions' Icons & Idols sale happening December 3 and 4 are a red leather "Beat It" jacket signed by Michael Jackson, a D&G coat from Madonna's Girlie Show tour, Vivien Leigh's blouse from Gone With the Wind, signed letters from Mae West and Bette Davis and Barbra Streisand's Funny Lady dress.
Also in the mix are some unusual goods, including X-rays taken in 1945 of Albert Einstein's head, a guitar that was once played by both John Lennon and Elvis Presley during a jam session in L.A. and a custom-designed leather monkey suit that Jackson commissioned for his pet chimp Bubbles.
The big-ticket item of the lot, however, is a band jacket worn by Lennon for a 1966 Life magazine photo shoot that is expected to bring in between $150,000 and $200,000.
On December 5, Julien's is hosting an auction dedicated exclusively to the memorabilia of Johnny Cash, also happening in Beverly Hills and including the sale of some of the musician's personal guitars, such as the one featured on the cover of Cash's classic live album, The Survivors.

From Elvis to Madonna, rare rock relics on sale
Items on auction block include Kurt Cobain’s fingerprints, ‘Thriller’ fangs
By Mike Celizic
TODAYShow.com contributor
updated 10:03 a.m. ET Nov. 17, 2009

Have you ever had a burning desire to own a pair of Michael Jackson’s beaded socks? How about a suit tailor-made for John Lennon when he was a Beatle? Or you might like a size 42 jacket Elvis Presley wore in the film “Speedway.” If you’re in the market for a used car, how about a black 1985 Mercedes that once provided a royal ride for the King of Pop?
Well, here’s your chance: Those items are among hundreds of rare rock relics being auctioned off this Saturday, Nov. 21, by Julien’s Auctions at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square in New York City and online at juliensauctions.com.
Almost all of the items were obtained either from the artists themselves, their estates, or friends and family of the artists, Darren Julien told TODAY’s Meredith Vieira Tuesday in New York, where he showed off some of the items that will go on the block during the “Music Icons” audition.
Rock pile
Among the 68 artists represented in the auction are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, ZZ Top, KISS, The Ramones, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Cher, Debbie Harry, Prince, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Bo Diddley, The Beatles and Bob Dylan.
One of the odder items is a signed card of Kurt Cobain’s fingerprints, taken by police in Aberdeen, Wash., when the future rock star was arrested at the age of 19 for trespassing while intoxicated.
“These are highly collectible,” Julien said of the card. “It’s got his fingerprints. It’s very personal. We sold a Jim Morrison fingerprint card for $12,000.” Julien said he expects the Cobain prints to go for $6,000 to $8,000.
Another unique item is a demo tape an unknown performer named Madonna made in 1979 to send to record companies in an attempt to get a recording contract. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, it’s just Madonna, her music unadorned by post-production magic and elaborate orchestration. The songs on the tape include “All My Love,” “Hear Me” (a song that evolved into “Shine a Light”), “Simon Says” (which became the familiar “Love Express”) and “Little Lost Boy.”
Julien estimates the tape will bring $1,000 to $2,000, noting that the Material Girl still holds the copyrights to all the songs.
Gloved One’s glove
There are also several Michael Jackson items going on the block, including the ’85 Mercedes, a custom model imported especially for him. After driving the car around his Neverland Ranch, Jackson gave the vehicle to his aunt. The personalized plates she bought for the car demonstrate her gratitude: “TKS MKL.” Julien’s partner, Martin Nolan, estimated the car will go for $20,000 to $30,000.
There’s also the mold used to make the fangs Jackson wore in the “Thriller” video ($1,000-$2,000), along with a gorgeously beaded glove ($10,000-$12,000) and a pair of socks covered with crystal beads ($2,000-$3,000).
In addition to his song and dance chops, Jackson had a flair for art. Julien showed an impressive pencil sketch of a boy in overalls that the singer drew and signed at the age of 9, expected to bring $2,000 to $4,000 at auction. Another drawing is of Charlie Chaplin and is expected to go for a comparable price.
Beatles and Elvis
Lennon’s suit is a stylish number consisting of a black jacket and black, white and gray pinstriped pants. The suit was tailored by D.A. Millings & Son and the jacket has a label with Lennon’s name. Estimated price: $6,000 to $8,000.
The Presley jacket displayed on TODAY is bright red, with two vertical white racing stripes. It was part of the King’s wardrobe in the 1968 racing movie “Speedway.” The jacket has a costume label reading: “MGM Studio Culver City/ Name Elvis Presley/ Prod #1860/ Chest 42.” Julien said the jacket sold at auction in 1970 for $600. Nearly 40 years later, it’s expected to fetch $6,000 to $8,000.
Another item from Presley is a handwritten set list he jotted down on Las Vegas International Hotel stationery. The King did two shows daily at the hotel from 1969 to ’71, and it is not known for which of them the list was written. It includes 18 songs, leading off with “That's All Right Mama” and ending with “The Impossible Dream.” Estimated cost: $2,000 to $3,000.
Another Presley item is a gold ring featuring a large purple star ruby surrounded by 20 small diamonds. Elvis gave the ring to his uncle, Vester Presley, after the uncle said how pretty it was. Julien said it should bring $20,000 to $30,000.

Non-film related items include the gun Jack Ruby used to shoot President Kennedy's assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and the toe tag used to identify his corpse.
"Most collections have one or two great things and then things trail off from there," Mr Ettinger said.
"This collection, there would have to be 100 items here, any one of which would be a star attraction anywhere else."
