Wednesday, 6 January 2010

Madonna is set to fuse hip-hop and rock in her next album, it has been reported.
The pop Queen, who has long been a hip-hop fan, will bring the sound to her follow-up to Hard Candy.
According to the Daily Star, DJ A-Trak is collaborating with the singer and readying ideas to blur the lines between rock and hip-hop.
The singer's new material will also be overseen by Pearl Jam producer Brendan O'Brien.
Award-winning A-Trak, aka Alain Macklovitch, is the latest young collaborator to join Madonna, 51.
The 27-year-old recently spent four years as a warm-up DJ for Kanye West.
He said: "It's my production, turned into song structure - halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to."
