BOOTED-out X Factor singer Stacey Solomon may have had her victory chances scuppered by Madonna.
The superstar, 51, had been in talks with Simon Cowell to appear in Saturday's final, with insiders claiming she was set to duet with Stacey.
But the deal collapsed and the snub is being blamed for Stacey losing after she sang with Canadian crooner Michael Bublé instead.
A show source said Madge's team would only let her perform if she had an album or tour to plug.
The source said: "We were told she wasn't in promotion so it wasn't going to happen.
"It's a shame as she'd have been brilliant and given the show a real lift, especially with Stacey."
Fans of Stacey feel that Bublé does not have the same popular appeal as Robbie Williams, who partnered Olly Murs, and George Michael, who did a duet with Joe McElderry.
Some are so furious that they have urged Brits to boycott the winner's song.
Fan Brumgal wrote online: "Stacey was stitched up. Her chances of winning were ruined by Cowell giving her Bublé to sing with. Do not buy the X Factor single."

She's never afraid to make her feelings known...but Madonna was in fully-fledged “difficult” mode during her recent trip to London.
She left underlings quivering with ten-sion as she filmed a series of interviews.
Despite arriving late at the Soho Hotel, things started calmly enough as she settled into her suite. But when Her Madgesty saw the area set aside for interviews – including one for GMTV – she was distinctly unimpressed.
Everything was wrong, apparently, from the colour of the chair (green) to the colour of the lights (red).
So in typical Madge-style, she demanded they immediately change the furniture and painstakingly re-rig all the lighting.
To make matters worse, this had to be done with the air-conditioning off as it affected her voice.
A TV source told us: “We knew Madonna was tough but had no idea she was quite so exacting. We had had specifications on lighting and camera angles before she arrived.
“But she took one look at the chair and complained it was the wrong colour.
Then she said the red lighting – which took ages to put up – was all wrong too.
“Everyone was stuck in this room sweating under the TV lights while we waited for her to give the thumbs up.
“We had been warned not to turn on the aircon because it could effect her vocal cords. It was ridiculous.”
We hear the fun and games didn’t stop there either.
Our impeccable mole says the star’s “brusque” manner with some journos put a few backs up. One Japanese interviewer was found close to tears after her interview was cut short by Madge.
Our mole adds: “She had a string of interviews lined up and seemed to get more fractious as the day wore on.
“The poor woman from Japan stood no chance and was seen looking forlorn in foyer She said Madge had barely answered any of her questions and had been really sharp with her.”
Madonna’s spokeswoman said: “Madonna was an ultimate professional throughout her day of interviews. And her favourite one was GMTV.”

Madonna has revealed her adopted son David, four, loves dressing up as his pop star mother and is a huge fan of her music.
Madonna's son wants to wear her clothes.
The '4 Minutes' singer says her adopted tot David, four, is her biggest fan and is fascinated by the outfits she wears in her pop promos and on stage.
She said: "He knows every song, every word, every step, and he wants to wear all the costumes. He likes my dress that I wear in 'La Isla Bonita'."
Madonna, 51, also revealed her other children are showing signs of following in her footsteps and she was particularly impressed with her eight-year-old son Rocco - whose father is her ex-husband Guy Ritchie - joining her on stage at her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour because he is usually so introverted.
She added: "When he jumped on stage to dance in my last show I was shocked actually and secretly, unbeknownst to me, they're all studying privately with my dancers.
"Rocco comes out and busts out like a moonwalk or, you know, some kind of break dancing move and I'll ask him, 'Where did you get that?' He's always been quite shy so I was shocked when he wanted to be in the show."
The singer's 13-year-old daughter Lourdes also joined her mother on stage and astonished the 'Celebration' star with her professionalism.
She told 'GMTV': "I really thought of her in a very professional way, and I didn't want to distract her.
"I checked her out a few times in the show and she looked so chilled out and laid back and nonplussed by the whole thing, that I was like, 'OK. I'm not worried about her!' "
Despite her worldwide fame, Madonna - who also has an adopted daughter, Mercy, four - insists the children cope well with the attention surrounding her and them and manage to stay grounded.
She added: "They get great bonuses and perks out of being my children and they know it, and they're very grateful and appreciative for it.
"I think they are pretty balanced in terms of how they view fame or celebrity or things like that. I think it took them a while to adjust, but I think they're OK about it."

Madonna is adamant her children have a healthy attitude towards fame, even though they are growing up in the spotlight.
The Material Girl insists 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from her relationship with Carlos Leon, and Rocco, nine, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, as well as her adopted children David Banda and Mercy James, cope well with having a superstar mum.
And she's positive the good points about her celebrity status outweigh the bad.
She tells British TV show GMTV, "Since I don't know what that (a normal life) means, I don't know if they'd rather have that. Anyways they don't have a choice, they're stuck with the mother they have and I think they realise there are pluses and minuses to it.
"I think sometimes they'd like to walk down the street and just feel like normal kids and that happens, and other times, you know, they get great bonuses and perks out of being my children and they know it and they're very grateful and appreciative for it.
"I think they're pretty balanced in terms of how they view fame and celebrity and things like that. I think it took them a while to adjust but they're okay."

LONDON - Film director and Madonna's former husband, Guy Ritchie managed to break four cars while trying to become the fastest celebrity driver to appear on popular UK car show, Top Gear.
According to British media reports, the director of Sherlock Holmes and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, was involved in a series of spins and crashes while driving the Dunsfold Park track in Surrey, England.
Ritchie was taking part in Top Gear's 'Star In A Reasonably Priced Car' segment, where various stars attempt to beat each other's lag times around the track. Ritchie reportedly blamed wet weather for his misfortune.
'He told the show's presenters it was a wet track and he had ended up breaking four cars over the course of the day, including destroying one of the gear boxes,' said an audience member at the programme's recording.
'It sounded like he had a few problems finding top gear, so I don't think his time will be the fastest.'
The episode will be shown in Top Gear's next season in 2010.

Bull's-eye, Adam.
Last night, "American Idol's" designated shock star, Adam Lambert, did his best to steal the headlines at the "American Music Awards." And while Taylor Swift's big win may have given her the most ink in the more staid areas of the press, in the wild, wild west of the bloggosphere, it's all Adam, all the time.
Not that much of the talk is exactly encouraging.
"Caterwauling 101," cried one of the endless outraged viewers who've crammed the comment sites following Lambert's gyrating performance.
"I would expect this from MTV, but not on ABC," sniffed another disappointed viewer. "It was too over the top."
Adam, over the top?
Naaah.
Not only is a bit of, shall-we-say, flashiness more than expected from La Lambert, ABC did set up the performance by describing it, several times, as a particularly outrageous display.
The star himself has gone on record defending his shenanigans - which included simulated fellatio and various tongue minglings with both sexes, all of which were performed so swiftly, and disinterestedly, you could easily miss them.
"If I offended some people . . . I'm not an artist that does things for every single person," Lambert told Access Hollywood. "I wish people would open their minds and enjoy things. It's all for a laugh. It's really not that big of a deal."
In an affectational sense, he's right. Lambert's crotch-central action isn't anything we haven't seen many times before from Madonna, Britney, Janet, and countless others. The difference is, they're women and, for a host of vexing and contradictory reasons, the mass public takes same-sex action from women much less seriously than from men.
In that sense, it's good that Adam tried to even up the score between mainstream depictions of man-on-man action and gal-on-gal.
Unfortunately, other disappointed fans have a genuine point when they speculate that the theatrical distractions seem to have thrown Adam off his vocal game.
For the first time, the singer gave a less than stellar vocal performance on TV. Stray, and flat notes abounded - a charge that never came into play in any of his "Idol" displays. Whether a technical bug-a-boo threw him off (as some commenters have speculated) or, in fact, the busy theatrics of the thing caused the gaffs, it's hard to say. But, in the end, the performance didn't click musically.
Adam deserves kudos for trying to push the envelope in a fun way - and the fevered reaction shows he hit a deserving nerve. But it's too bad all this extra attention now falls on a singing performance that, on A.I., might have gotten him a round of bad reviews, if not the boot.

Last night, Saturday Night Live did a re-run of the fairly interesting Ryan Reynolds-hosted episode from earlier this month. In it was a skit with musical performer Lady Gaga and a Madonna cameo. But they re-aired the funnier, racier version.
The interesting thing about this is that Saturday Night Live by no means has to edit the episode to contain the rehearsal footage skit; they could've just run the same episode and be fine. You have to wonder where along the chain of command someone said "run the funnier version." But why couldn't they have just performed it the first time?
Eh. SNL disappointment shouldn't come as a surprise to many, but the fact that they hold back on the good stuff is just depressing. Then again, it's nice to know they're making an effort to put it out there. Here's hoping they can add some pizazz to a fairly blase November schedule.
